CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

PARTICIPATION

Participation in the Torlauf Dachstein is possible for physically fit people aged 18 and over. Persons under the age of 18 must present written consent from a legal guardian. The equipment needed can HERE be inspected and must be carried with you.

INDEMNIFICATION

With the registration or participation, each starter undertakes not to make any claims for remuneration for photos, film recordings, etc., which are made as part of the event.

Each participant confirms that their state of health meets the requirements. The organizer reserves the right to exclude participants from participation even after the entry fee has been paid, in particular due to unsportsmanlike, irreproachable behavior in the past (e.g. doping or aggressive, unsportsmanlike behavior, previous suspensions from competitions, warnings or exclusions.

The organizer and/or its sponsors accept no liability and cannot be held responsible for any loss, injury or damage to any person, competitor or property, howsoever caused, during the race.

Every starter takes part at their own risk and accepts the conditions of participation and the disclaimer by paying the entry fee or by starting. The respective race pace is to be adapted to the track and weather conditions at your own responsibility. The instructions of the stewards must be followed.

By registering, the participant accepts the conditions of participation.

Claims for damages by the participant against the organizer, for whatever legal reason, are excluded.

The participant knows and fully accepts the conditions of participation and the valid regulations. He expressly declares that he has fully read and understood all the rules, regulations and conditions contained therein. The participant declares  to take part in the event at their own risk and that they are adequately insured against accidents (also abroad).

The organizer assumes no liability for health risks of the participant in connection with participation in the run.

The participant has checked his state of health and assures the organizer that there are no health or physical concerns about participating in the race. Furthermore, the participant must ensure that the equipment is in perfect working order.

The organizer assumes no liability for lost valuables, clothing and equipment.

The organizer is not liable for reductions in performance that occur because the participant is prevented from participating in whole or in part due to legal regulations and/or official orders.

By registering, participants expressly confirm:

  • to know the character of the trail stretches and the associated greater risks of this event

  • as a participant in the race, sure-footedness, a head for heights and an excellent level of training and health

  • that they are able to assess the weather development in the high mountains and adapt their behavior accordingly

  • to be aware of the extremely high personal responsibility with regard to state of health, level of training and equipment

  • to have studied the running course

  • accepts the organizer's rejection of any liability towards participants

  • to know and follow the regulations

  • that photo and video material on which the participant can be seen may be used for advertising purposes and press releases
