CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

Participation

Participation in the Torlauf Dachstein is open to healthy and physically fit individuals aged 18 and over. Individuals under the age of 18 require the written consent of their legal guardians.
The mandatory equipment can be viewed here and must be carried throughout the entire race.

Liability and insurance coverage

Each participant takes part in the Dachstein Slalom at their own risk. Each participant is responsible for taking out adequate accident, health, and rescue insurance (including coverage abroad). Please note: Many membership insurance policies (e.g., Alpine Club, Bergfreunde, etc.) exclude competitions.
The Torlauf Dachstein association accepts no liability for missing or insufficient insurance coverage. Any costs incurred for rescue, recovery, or medical care must be borne by the participants themselves and will not be covered by the organizer.
The organizer, its helpers, and sponsors accept no liability for accidents, damage to health, property damage, loss, or theft that may arise in connection with participation. Claims for damages of any kind against the organizer are excluded.

Health and personal responsibility
By registering, each participant confirms that their state of health meets the requirements and has been checked on their own responsibility. The individual race pace must always be adapted to the weather and track conditions.
The organizer reserves the right to exclude persons from the start due to unsportsmanlike behavior or health concerns, even after payment of the entry fee.

If, due to weather conditions or other unforeseeable reasons, it is not possible to complete certain sections of the route as planned, in particular the marathon distance, the organizer reserves the right to make route changes or to switch to an alternative route. In addition, it may be necessary to postpone the start of individual races due to weather or other circumstances.
